Is it easy to use?
Yes. Install it once (it takes two minutes and the user guide shows you how), drop it on an adjustment clip, pick a look and set the intensity: subtle, medium or aggressive. That's it.
Which version of DaVinci Resolve do I need?
DaVinci Resolve on Mac or Windows. Time Shift Blur is tested on DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. The free trial has 8 looks and the basic controls, so you can test it on your own footage first. Pro adds all 94 looks, every control and every update that comes after.
Playback stutters. How do I make it play smoothly?
Time Shift Blur does a lot of work per frame, so let Resolve pre-render it. Go to Playback › Render Cache › Smart. The line above the clip turns red, then blue a few seconds after you stop playing. Blue means it's ready and plays in real time.
Prefer to pick the clips yourself? Set Render Cache to User, right-click the clip with the effect and choose Render Cache Fusion Output › On.
The cache only speeds up playback. Your export still renders the effect at full quality.
Can I use it in client work?
Yes, in personal and commercial projects, including client work. The license is for you alone, so please don't share or resell the files. The details are in the terms.
Is it a subscription?
